Samsung T939 (Behold II) camera

It was not long ago that a 5 megapixel camera was the exclusive domain of the high-end cameraphone. Today, almost every smartphone worth its salt includes a 5 megapixel camera!

The Samsung T939 (Behold II) is no exception – it features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with macro and LED flash. Of course megapixels don’t matter nearly as much as the quality of the lens, sensor, and image processing algorithms used…

Podcast: Talking with Matt #20 (Anniversary special)

This Last week we celebrated the first anniversary of this podcast (already?) and the 3rd anniversary of my blog :)

Unfortunately, Matt’s camera battery died while recording, so we continued filming with the Nokia N900 but without the mic.

We discussed the cream of the crop for 2009: the Motorola Droid, the Nokia N900, the Palm Pre, and the Apple iPhone 3GS!

Samsung T939 (Behold II) in pictures

A little over a year after releasing the HTC Dream/T-Mobile G1, T-Mobile recently introduced its fourth Android device, the Samsung T939 (Behold II), and provided me with a review unit :)

The Behold II follows in the footsteps of the T929 (Memoir) and the T919 (Behold). Like them, it’s a nice touchscreen phone with a good camera. Unlike them, it’s a smartphone running Android, with a capacitive OLED display, WiFi, and standard audio & USB connectors…
