I have successfully managed to downgrade the Sony VAIO P to Windows XP (from Vista). I used this guide started by this person and contributed this information :)
Most importantly, I got both the WWAN (EVDO-only for now) and GPS radios working! Next up: more modding (it’s EDGE/HSDPA time)…

Доброго времени суток! Мне вот тут стало интересно, а есть какие-нибудь он-лайн школы, курсы или что-то подобное, где учат на веб-мастеров? Пытаюсь найти, но ничего не нахожу. Очень хочу стать веб-мастером, слышал, что они хорошо получают. И вообще очень интересно, как это так они работают? И есть ли какие-нибудь спецпредметы, или ещё какие-нибудь специальные дисциплины, которые веб-мастерам знать обязательно? Может кто поможет, если не сложно?
Слышал, что новичков в этой среде не очень любят – и как тогда быть?

i was hoping you could shed some light to some of the issues i am expereincing. I have downgraded from vista- xp and my sony vaio p series is running very fast however I cannot get the oom functionality to work (F9 + F10)also with vista the motion eye was using another software what do use with xp?

I much prefern Windows 7 to Windows XP. XP was good but it tends to run very slow and with a lot of errors on my system. That’s bad news to me – especially if it means I cannot use the computer to do the stuff I want.

Windows 7 was not available at the time of doing this mod… Furthermore, XP is faster than Windows 7 on this system – I have tried!
